How to request time off on your account on Employ
To request time off as an employee through Remote, navigate to the Time off
-section of your account. Click on Request time off
.
You will be asked to enter the leave type and the start and end date of your time off.
Submit the time off request and it will be sent to your company's administrators for review.
Do I have to request time off for public holidays?
No. As an employee employed through Remote's local entities, you do not have to request the public holidays off on your account as these are automatically taken off for you. This is because public holidays are automatically by law days off for local employees. This is also reflected in your payroll and payslip.

For customers
How do I process the time off requests of my employees?
When the employees submit time off requests, they are sent to your team to approve. To review the requests navigate to Time off
when logged in as a company administrator. Here you can view the time off requests that have been submitted, approve them or reject them. Once you approve or reject a time off request, the employee will be notified via email.
You can also view details about individual time off requests, such as the one that John Sardine requested.
Do my employees have to record public holidays?
No, your employees do not have to record public holidays because these are automatically included as that is required by law. This is also reflected in the payroll and payslips that employees receive.

Can my employees request for unpaid time-off or special leave?
Certainly, yes! You employees can have special events happening in their personal lives that would require them to take some time-off outside of their paid time-off.
How do you keep track of that? Simply send us an email to let us know so that our payroll team can process this along with the employee's monthly payroll.
