What is the Dutch Long-term Sickness Insurance

The Dutch long-term sickness insurance is a compulsory scheme everyone who works or lives permanently in the Netherlands must be enrolled in. It is a national scheme that covers long-term care in the Netherlands. Employers are required to contribute EUR 29 per employee towards this scheme.
