Due to the current situation and the large number of absences, a temporary general permit was granted to employ workers in overtime hours under the following conditions:

  • It is permitted to work up to 25 overtime hours per week.
  • The length of the work week, including overtime, shall not exceed 67 hours, and the quota of hours in a working month shall not exceed 90.
  • Employees may be employed for up to 14 hours a day (including overtime), subject to the employee's consent, and subject to the employee being given a break of at least fifteen minutes between the 12th and 14th hours of the working day.
  • The permit does not apply to employers in the construction and in transportation field and essential factories.
