Reserve service benefit: It is a paid leave entitlement for employees who have served in reserve service as required by law, including half-day service or training prescribed by the Emergency Work Service Law.

Please note that this entitlement also applies to individuals who are not officially on the reserve list but voluntarily offer their military service or are called to it (everyone has reserve status in Israel).

There is no statutory leave entitlement for those who are not part of the Reserve service or volunteers for the same. However, clients have the discretion to grant special leave for life events, but it is subject to approval by the employer.

This special leave should be marked as "Other" in the platform and will be fully paid if approved by Remote's customer.
