Without reporting tools like monthly summaries of gross-to-net earnings or year-to-date payroll costs, managers are left piecing together data from different payroll systems and spreadsheets across multiple regions. With Remote's Reports Library, company users (with the right permission) are able to track and report year-to-date payroll costs to stay updated on payroll spending and monitor financial performance throughout the year.

The Reports tab is available for all users that have the Owner, Super admin or Viewer role, or a custom role that has the Company Management permission. The data for these reports become available after the Payroll run has been completed.

Understanding the Payroll Reports

Gross-to-net monthly summary

This report partially mimics the same metrics as in the Payroll run level G2N Report, found in the Payroll tab. The difference is that the Payroll run level G2N is aggregated on an employee level, and scoped to each run, whereas the Global G2N is aggregating across all Payroll runs, per month. This gives a higher level view of the entire aggregated Payroll metrics, giving management a tool to understand Payroll cost, over time. This report is available to customers who use our employer of record (EOR) or Payroll product.
