The Standard Employment Check is a verification process where employment history details are manually verified with previous employers through official contact channels (personal email addresses cannot be used for verification). The process is estimated to take up to 15 working days after receiving all required information.
The check verifies, to the extent permissible per country, employment dates, job roles, employer details, reasons for leaving, previous line managers. Unlike the Express Employment Check (available in the UK and Canada), which only shows company names and employment duration, the Standard Check provides more comprehensive verification by directly contacting previous employers.
Customers have the flexibility to choose verification of 1, 2, or 3 employment records.
