The Org chart on Remote is a handy tool to give you an overview of the reporting lines within your company.

There two important things to note to get the most of the Org chart feature:

  • Your team members need to be assigned to the appropriate reporting lines
  • Company admins must link their team member accounts to appear on the org chart

  1. Go to the Team tab, click the arrow to open the dropdown menu, and select Org chart.

  2. At the top of the Org chart page, click on Add reporting lines link to access the page where you can assign team members to their appropriate reporting lines.

  3. On this page, you can assign managers to any team members who don't currently have one.

Understanding the World Map on Remote

The World Map feature provides an overview of how your team members are distributed globally. This interactive map displays country-specific information and team member counts when you hover over different regions. The areas shaded in purple indicate where team members are present, and clicking these areas takes you to an overview page that lists all team members residing in that country.
