As a company user managing performance reviews, you'll need to oversee calibration events from start to finish. This guide explains what happens when calibration events begin and how to properly close them.

When the Calibration event starts

When the Calibration Event starts, the groups will be created based on the pre-determined mappings. You will be able to see the list of all of these at this time by navigating to the relevant Calibration tab for the event from the review overview.

At the same time, the Calibrators you had defined for each group will now be notified that a new event is underway, and will be now be able to access the separate spaces for each of their specific groups.

Marking a Calibration Event as done

Calibrators cannot mark an event as done - it is an admin who needs to do this from Manage reviews tab. Each group will need to be closed individually (as we assume they will complete at different times).

Navigate to the Calibration tab, and select the group you wish to mark as done. Upon doing this:

  • All assessments for participants who have not had their score changed will be moved to the Calibrated state;
  • The Manager Reflections for participants who have had their score changed will be automatically Re-opened, and their self-reflections will be moved to the Calibrated state;
  • No more changes may be made by the Calibrators to any of the scores for those participants.
