While onboarding an employee, can I opt-out of Remote Equity Essentials?

No, Essentials is mandatory if you grant equity to EOR employees. Not sharing compensation information with Remote is in breach of signed Terms of Service (ToS). Remote needs to be informed to take care of local reporting obligations relating to equity compensation, without missing deadlines which would incur fines and other penalties.
