This article is for EOR team members who remain employed in Israel but need to work from another country temporarily during an emergency.

Requesting relocation support

If you are unable to remain in Israel due to safety concerns, you may need to work from another country temporarily. We understand you might not be able to access Remote's platform during this time, so we can assist you through email.

What to do:

  1. Contact us at help@remote.com if you need assistance filling out the request form. Include where you are relocating to and the estimated dates.
  2. Our team will review your request and respond to your ticket.

When you regain platform access to Remote:

  1. Our team will review your request and respond to your ticket.
  2. When you have platform access again, submit a formal Remote Work Request in the Request Hub. This ensures:
    • We have a clear record of your work location
    • We can notify you when your remote work period ends
    • You stay compliant with local tax and immigration rules

All initial email-based decisions will be honored, we just need a formal log in the system for audit and support purposes later.

What happens if remote work isn’t allowed?

If you're in a country that does not allow remote work on a tourist visa, we’ll:

  • Advise you on permitted duration of stay
  • Explore other options (e.g. visa changes, alternate destinations)
  • Support your next steps with immigration and legal guidance
