Journée de Solidarité (or Solidarity Day) is an additional day of work which is unpaid and mandatory under French Labour Law. The goal is to finance actions in favor of the autonomy of elderly or disabled people. The usual practice is to have employees work on a public holiday chosen by the Employer.
