In what countries is non-local currency salary payments offered?

In some countries, it is possible for an employee's compensation to be denominated and paid (where possible) in a non-local currency.

These countries are:

  • Argentina 🇦🇷 - USD
  • Cambodia 🇰🇭 - USD
  • Chile 🇨🇱 - USD
  • Colombia 🇨🇴 - USD
  • Costa Rica 🇨🇷 - USD
  • Egypt 🇪🇬 USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in EGP)
  • Georgia 🇬🇪 - USD or EUR (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD or EUR but their salary payment is done in GEL)
  • India 🇮🇳  - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in INR)
  • Kenya 🇰🇪  - USD or EUR
  • Mexico 🇲🇽 - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in MXN)
  • Nigeria 🇳🇬 - USD
  • Pakistan 🇵🇰  - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in PKR)
  • Peru 🇵🇪 - USD
  • Poland 🇵🇱 - USD or EUR
  • Singapore 🇸🇬 - USD
  • South Africa 🇿🇦 - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in ZAR)
  • Sweden 🇸🇪 - EUR
  • Turkey 🇹🇷 - USD or EUR

  • United Kingdom 🇬🇧 - USD

    Note: Some countries require specific circumstances to be met in order to action the currency change.
