In some countries, it is possible for an employee's compensation to be denominated and paid (where possible) in a non-local currency.

- Costa Rica 🇨🇷 - USD
- Egypt 🇪🇬 USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in EGP)
- Georgia 🇬🇪 - USD or EUR (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD or EUR but their salary payment is done in GEL)
- India 🇮🇳 - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in INR)
- Kenya 🇰🇪 - USD or EUR
- Mexico 🇲🇽 - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in MXN)
- Nigeria 🇳🇬 - USD
- Pakistan 🇵🇰 - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in PKR)
- Peru 🇵🇪 - USD
- Poland 🇵🇱 - USD or EUR

- South Africa 🇿🇦 - USD (the employee's contract can be denominated in USD but their salary payment is done in ZAR)
