The government has introduced new legislation enabling Ukrainian citizens and their family members (spouse, children and parents of Ukrainian children) to apply for a residency on the grounds of temporary refuge directly upon entry to Slovakia at the relevant border crossing or subsequently at the department of foreign police in the district where the applicant is staying.
This permit will be granted on the spot and valid until the end of 2022. It will allow the applicant to work remotely for a Ukrainian company or for any company based in Slovakia. Remote will be able to hire Ukrainian citizens holding refuge status under our Slovakian entity

For the period of martial law, male citizens of Ukraine between the ages of 18 to 60 years old are restricted from leaving the country.
