How does an employee request parental leave (e.g., maternity, paternity or child leave)?

Both parental leave and parental benefits come under the Social Insurance board. To take any of the parental leaves, the employee must request this on the self-service portal of the Social Insurance Board. From the portal, the employee can see the number of unused leave days. Once the employee has applied for leave, the Social Insurance Board will automatically inform Remote.
