By law, this policy applies to all Remote employees based in Ontario, Canada, even those working with our clients. We have drafted the policy to be broad enough to allow our clients and the external employees to come to an agreement about which hours the employee will be expected to respond to emails/calls. Employees may be required to be "on call" or available to respond at all times, while others may agree to "flexible" schedules where the employee does not work a normal 9-5 schedule.
