What can be added as an incentive and what needs to be grossed up to salary?

When an incentive is classified as insurance related, it cannot be added as an incentive. Instead, the employee's salary will need to be grossed up to include the cost of the incentive. An example of this is health insurance cost. 

Allowances that go towards phone or internet costs can be added as incentives on the Remote platform. Alternativaly, the employee can make payment for it and submit and expense reimbursement request.
