What type of contracts are available in Italy?

In Italy, we support open/indefinite and fixed term agreements. Regarding the fixed-term agreements:

• The original fixed-term contract cannot be longer than 12 months.
• If the original fixed-term contract is equal to 12 months, no extensions or renewals are permissible.
• If the original fixed-term contract is less than 12 months, we can only extend it (before the end date) up to 12 months (total length: original + extension). We cannot renew it after the end date if the total duration was 12 months.
