Yes. Remote does not provide any government with our encryption keys or the ability to break our encryption or direct access to personal data. If a government requests access to personal data, they must follow the applicable legal processes. A warrant, a court order for content, or a subpoena for information shall be issued by a government agency with the appropriate rights or a court before Remote can review a law enforcement request.
All requests must target specific accounts and identifiers. Remote's legal and compliance teams will review all requests to ensure they are valid and will only provide the data specified if we deem the request valid, both procedurally and substantively. We will reject invalid requests. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Remote will notify the client before it actions a law enforcement request.
