Can I receive a stipend towards healthcare in the United States (US)

Unfortunately, this is not compliant with labor laws in the United States. We are unable to provide any form of reimbursement or stipend for healthcare or wellness to employees in the US, especially if they waive our health insurance option. This is due to ACA regulations (a law put it in place to provide fair and equal benefits to all employees).

In this case, the correct course of action is for this benefit amount to be added to the employee’s base salary instead. To do this, the Customer needs to submit a salary increase request on Remote.

Once we process this request, the employee will begin receiving an increased salary, part of which can go towards covering healthcare/wellness costs.
