Pricing Changes in the Canada, UK, and Ireland (Fall 2022)

To continue providing a top-tier experience, we will standardize Employer of Record (EOR) pricing for hiring in all countries to the following, effective October 6, 2022:

  1. $599 USD per employee per month (paid annually upfront)

  2. $699 USD per employee per month (paid month-to-month)

In which hiring countries will Remote’s EOR prices change?

Remote’s EOR fees to hire in Canada, the UK, and Ireland will increase on October 6, 2022, while the EOR fees to hire in all other countries will remain the same.

Note: This price increase will only affect customers who don’t already have an active employee in that country:

  • Example: I am a new customer who signs up for Remote on October 10th; my price with be $599/$699 for hiring in all countries.

  • Example: I am an existing customer who has employees in Australia, Portugal, Brazil, and Canada; going forward, my price will increase to $599/$699 in the UK and Ireland, but will remain at $299/$349 in Canada.

What are the new prices?

Remote’s EOR fees to hire in all the countries where we operate will be the following as of October 6, 2022:

  1. $599 USD per employee per month (paid annually upfront)

  2. $699 USD per employee per month (paid month-to-month)

Why is Remote raising EOR prices in Canada, the UK, and Ireland?

Over the last 12 months, Remote has worked diligently to develop the best-in-class infrastructure we need to scale with our customers in all the countries we're available in. These investments ensure that Remote continues to deliver the fast, accurate, compliant, and trustworthy processes needed to hire, manage, and pay employees, regardless of their global location.

Accordingly, we are moving to a simple global pricing framework across all locations that we support. 

I already have at least one employee in Canada, the UK, and/or Ireland — how will this price change affect me?

The price change currently only affects the countries in which you do not have an active employee. If you already have an active employee in one of the countries, your price will remain the same.

For example, if you have an employee in Canada, the price will remain at $299/$349 in Canada but will increase to $599/$699 in the UK and Ireland.

I don’t currently have any employees in Canada, the UK, or Ireland - how will this price change affect me?

Because you don’t currently have any active employees in these three countries, this price change won’t immediately affect you.

If you do have an employee ready to hire in Canada, the UK, or Ireland, you can add them before October 6, 2022 at our current pricing.

I currently have at least one employee in one or two of these countries, but not all three - how will this price change affect me?

In the country where you don’t already have an employee, your EOR fees to hire in that country will rise on October 6, 2022.

In the country where you do already have at least one employee, your EOR fees for the existing employee(s) and new employee(s) will not be immediately affected.

Example: I am an existing customer who has employees in Australia, Portugal, Brazil, and Canada; going forward, my price will increase to $599/$699 in the UK and Ireland but will remain at the current price in Canada (for a certain amount of time)

Can I add an employee in Canada, the UK, or Ireland before the price rises on October 6?

Yes. If you do have an employee ready to hire in Canada, the UK, or Ireland, you can add them before October 6, 2022 at the current rate.
