In the United Kingdom, it is currently possible to confirm an employee's right to work using an expired passport or other official documents. However, it is not possible to present these digitally.
Following upcoming regulation changes, for those unable to verify their identity digitally, we will need to have their original documents in hand to verify their validity. This may mean couriering the documents or other solutions to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
