I don’t have the Pay Group field available in BambooHR

BambooHR customers who are using the TRAXPayroll integration may not have access to the Pay Group field. We use the Pay Group field to know which BambooHR employees need to be synced to Remote.

As an alternative to the Pay Group field, we accept a custom field named Sync to Remote? as well. BambooHR requires this request to come from you. You can submit a request to have this custom field created as follows:

  1. Go to https://help.bamboohr.com/hc/en-us/requests/new (you’ll be requested to log in to your BambooHR account) and select “I have a question or problem with BambooHR”.

  2. Select the category Custom Field, and write Add custom field "Sync to Remote?" as the subject.

  3. Copy and paste the following into the description field, exactly like this:

    Storage type: Field
    Type of field or table: Checkbox
    Name of the field: Sync to Remote? (exactly like this, including the question mark)
    Desired storage location for the field or table in BambooHR: Job tab.

BambooHR may take up to 1 working day to get back.

After BambooHR confirms the field is created, anyone with the right permissions in BambooHR will be able to tick the Sync to Remote? checkbox in the Job tab for each employee they wish to sync to Remote.
