There are several reasons we may not have automatically collected your invoice payment, such as:
- The automated invoice payments function has been disabled on your account. If we issued the invoice while the automated invoice payments function was disabled, the automated payment does not apply retroactively. For example:
- You enabled the automated invoice payments function on 10th October. Any invoice we issued before this date that is still unpaid will not be automatically collected.
- You added a direct debit payment method, but did not finish verifying it until after we issued your invoice. This applies to ACH direct debit and BACS direct debit. Only SEPA direct debit does not require verification.
