In a nutshell, this is what you need to know: As a contractor on Remote you can receive your contractor payments to your Wise account in AED, ARS, AUD, BYN, BGN, CAD, CHF, CLP, HRK, CZK, DKK, EGP, EUR, GBP, GEL, GHS, HUF, ISK, INR, IDR, ILS, JPY, KPW, LKR, MYR, MXN, MAD, NZD, NGN, NOK, PKR, PHP, PLN, RON, RUB, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, USD, VND, ZAR. To receive the payments, you have to open balances in the currency of your choice on your Wise account and then add the currency-specific bank account details to your account on Employ.

How do I add my Wise account to Remote?
To receive your contractor payments through Remote to your Wise account you first have to open a balance in the currency that you wish receive the contractor payment in. At the moment, we support: AED, ARS, AUD, BYN, BGN, CAD, CHF, CLP, HRK, CZK, DKK, EGP, EUR, GBP, GEL, GHS, HUF, ISK, INR, IDR, ILS, JPY, KPW, LKR, MYR, MXN, MAD, NZD, NGN, NOK, PKR, PHP, PLN, RON, RUB, SEK, SGD, THB, TRY, USD, VND, ZAR. Opening a currency balance on your Wise account

The short of is that you have to go to
Home on the app or on the website and then click
Open a balance. Then choose the currency you wish to open a balance for.
Adding the bank account details to Remote
Once you have obtained the bank account details from your Wise account, you can add them by navigating to
Personal details ➡️
Job & Pay and then change the currency to the one you wish to receive your contractor payment in.
Each local currency has different requirements, so you will be asked to enter different information based on that. For example, USD requires that you provide an account number and routing number while EUR requires IBAN and SWIFT/BIC code.
Are there any limitations?
Yes, there are some limitations.
We can currently only payout in the currencies we support. We are working to add the remaining currencies that Wise allow you to get dedicated bank details for.
