Through this new partnership, we’re bringing together two of the best platforms in HR — Greenhouse for recruiting and hiring, and Remote for global employment, payroll, and benefits — to streamline and accelerate global expansion for companies of all sizes.
How does pairing Remote with Greenhouse help me?
This new partnership will help simplify global employment from end-to-end for both recruiters and HR teams. Through this new integration, mutual customers can effortlessly connect Remote’s global employment solution with Greenhouse to securely sync and view candidate profile information from both accounts.

How much does the integration cost to use?
The integration is free for customers using both Remote and Greenhouse.
How does the integration work?
The Greenhouse integration is a webhook that syncs candidate data between the two systems. Step-by-step instructions on the technical setup can be found here.
Once the integration is set up, you will be able to push new hire information to Remote at the Offer Stage in Greenhouse. So when you click on the profile of one of your candidates that you are ready to hire, you'll select the "Offer Details" tab and one of the two buttons - create offer or mark candidate as hired. On the pop-up form, you'll select Yes within the "Send New Hire Information to Remote for Onboarding" field.
Within your Remote account, if the candidate already exists then their information will be updated. If they don’t exist (which will be the case most often) then a new profile for the candidate is created in Remote.
What data is transferred from Greenhouse into Remote?
The candidate’s job title, name, email and start date are transferred from Greenhouse into Remote.
Can I send additional information about a candidate over to Remote via the integration?
Not at this time. However, please reach out to Remote at firstname.lastname@example.org with a list of your field requests and we’ll discuss them with you so that we can properly prioritize them in the next version of the integration.
Do I need to set up both webhooks to use the integration?
No, you don't. If your company uses the “Create Offer” button in Greenhouse to finalize your new hires, then you will set up the Offer Created webhook. If your company uses the “Mark Candidate as Hired” button in Greenhouse to finalize your new hires, then you will select the Candidate Hired webhook.
What if I make a mistake and want to re-send new information about a candidate to Remote?
If needed, you can re-trigger the webhook any time by clicking the "Unhire" button within the candidate’s profile in Greenhouse. Then navigate back to the Offer Details section and select the Mark Candidate as Hired or Offer Created button again following the normal flow.
