Can a team member be exempted from carrying out a health check in Portugal?

No, they can't. As the Employer of Record (EOR) in Portugal, Remote is required to schedule a health check appointment for the team member with our medical partner.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept the health check certificate from a previous employer. In order to comply with the local legislation, the team member needs to carry out a new health check through Remote.
