Thing to note

The "Medical Treatment Period" (MTP) is the statutory maximum duration during which an employer is legally prohibited from terminating an employee's contract (except in cases of gross misconduct).
This period is cumulative (sick days are added up over a rolling period, not just a calendar year) and depends on the employee's total years of service (across all employers) and tenure at the current employer.
Holidays and rest days are generally included in the MTP calculation
