How many réduction du temps de travail (RTT) days am I entitled to in France?

Employees on a 38h30 contract and lump sum (forfait jour) contract are entitled to a number of RTT days which number varies each year.
The number of RTT days par year is calculated as follows:
- Number of days for the year
- Annual Leave entitlement (25 working days)
- Number of Saturdays and Sundays for the year
- Number of National Public Holidays falling on a working day during the year
- Number of working days as per contract (218 days for a lump sum/forfait jour contract)
= Number of RTT for the year
In 2026, employees on a 38.30 hour contract are entitled to 7 RTT days. Employees on a lump sum (forfait jour) contract are entitled to 9 RTT days.
In 2027 the balance is increased by 1 day, employees on a 38.30 hour contract are entitled to 8 RTT days (accrual per month worked: 0,67 days). Employees on a lump sum (forfait jour) contract are entitled to 10 RTT days (accrual per month worked: 0,83 days).
