When it comes to onboarding, we understand the need for speed.
- The employee has the legal right to work in the country
- There are no change request for the employment agreement
- There are no temporary restrictions due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. government closures, restricted access to employee registrations, geopolitical events, etc.)
An important note: The faster the employee completes their self-enrollment, the faster we can complete their onboarding. Once the employee completes their self-enrollment, you can check the status of their onboarding on the Remote platform to know exactly where they are in the process.
In every country we'e available in, there's generally a minimum amount of time we require to legally and compliantly onboard an employee before their start date. When inviting an employee to complete their self-enrollment, the country’s next available start date can be selected using our start date calendar. The table below shows off our latest timelines for the top 20 countries in which we onboard — based on real data from the last month.
Onboarding timelines start once the employee has completed their self enrollment on Remote and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) or Service Order (SO) has been signed (if applicable). For customers who accept our Terms of Service (ToS), the employee onboarding timeline starts once the employee has been invited to the platform and completed self enrollment. Timelines below reflect employees that act quickly, already have a right to work in the country, and scenarios where no edits to the employment agreement are made.
