How much is a reserve payment?

If you are asked to pay a reserve for an employee, it will be based on the employee’s estimated monthly gross salary and associated mandatory employer costs.

  • 30 day invoice payment terms: a 1 month reserve is required for all employees
  • Extended notice periods: reserve required to cover the employee’s salary for the additional notice period
  • Additional severances: reserve required to cover the guaranteed severance
  • Seniority recognition: reserve required to cover the additional severance and notice period entitlements
  • Non-compete: reserve required to cover the compensation to be paid for the period of the non-compete
