What happens to my disability information?

Remote values your privacy and is committed to ensuring the confidentiality and security of your personal data. As part of our legal obligations in your country of residence, we are required to collect and process employment disability data and to report the number of persons with disabilities we employ to relevant authorities.

  • Voluntary provision: Providing your employment disability data is voluntary. However, please note that failure to provide this information may limit our ability to provide necessary adjustments and support in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Purpose: The data is collected to comply with our legal obligations and to provide appropriate adjustments and support.
  • Categories of data: Your disclosure and the supporting documentation you upload (if any).
  • Legal basis: Processing this data is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations as an employer.
  • Data storage and retention: We securely store your employment disability data on our platform. Only authorized personnel can access this information for the duration of your employment and for up to 3 years thereafter.
  • Data sharing: We will only share this information with relevant internal departments. We will also report the hiring of a person with a disability to the appropriate authority in your jurisdiction of residence, without disclosing your identity. We will not share your information with the Customer without your consent.
  • Your rights: You have the right to access, rectify, and delete your employment disability data. You can remove the document you upload by simply deleting it from the platform.
