To enable the Slack integration:
- Log into Remote, go to the Integrations tab, and click on Add from the Slack integration card.
- Under Configure your Slack integration, click on Add integration.
- You will be redirected to a page where you can sign in to your Slack workspace.
- Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
- Once connected, you will be redirected back to the Slack integration page with a confirmation message that your Slack integration is enabled.
Who can enable the Slack integration:
- In Slack: You will need the appropriate Slack permissions to connect Remote and Slack. If you don't have the appropriate permissions, you may receive a message that you are not authorized to install Slack on Remote, or you may be asked to send a message to your App Managers to request permissions.
- In Remote: Users with the Owner or Super Admin role, or those with a custom role that includes the Company Management permissions, can add integrations in Remote.
