To enable the Slack integration:

  1. Log into Remote, go to the Integrations tab, and click on Add from the Slack integration card.
  2. Under Configure your Slack integration, click on Add integration
  3. You will be redirected to a page where you can sign in to your Slack workspace.
  4. Review the requested permissions and click Allow.
  5. Once connected, you will be redirected back to the Slack integration page with a confirmation message that your Slack integration is enabled.

Who can enable the Slack integration:

  • In Slack: You will need the appropriate Slack permissions to connect Remote and Slack.  If you don't have the appropriate permissions, you may receive a message that you are not authorized to install Slack on Remote, or you may be asked to send a message to your App Managers to request permissions.
  • In Remote: Users with the Owner or Super Admin role, or those with a custom role that includes the Company Management permissions, can add integrations in Remote.
