During the Remote Payroll implementation process for the US, we will ask you to upload your employees' information via our platform.

To ensure a smooth implementation, here are the documents you can prepare:

All states:

  • I-9 Forms
    • Employers must verify the identity and employment eligibility of each new hire and complete Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
    • Visit the official website here to read more.
  • Federal W-4 (Employee's Withholding Certificate)
    • The W-4 form, completed by employees and submitted to their employers, determines the amount of federal income tax to be withheld from each paycheck.
    • Visit the official website here to read more, and here to view a sample form.
  • New Hires Report
  • Employees’ Payslips
    • Payslips from the start of the tax year (if you start payroll with us in the middle of the year)
  • Employees’ Contracts
  • Employees’ ID

In the states where there are personal income tax:

  • State tax withholding forms
    • Of the 50 states, most impose personal income tax. However, Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming have no state income tax.
    • Visit the US Department of Labor website here to check the withholding forms by state.
