Are there any restrictions on work activities for individuals holding certain types of visas or permits?
Temitope Olamolu
Yes. Most work visas and permits come with specific restrictions on the type of work permitted, the employer, and work location. These restrictions are typically detailed on the back of the residence permit card, accompanying documents provided with the card, or within the work permit approval letter issued by immigration authorities. To support compliance, Remote offers a pre-employment eligibility check to help identify any such restrictions early. This helps ensure that the employment arrangement aligns with the individual's immigration status.
