As an admin of a live review, you can close a review completely at any point, as long as there are no open assessments (those marked as Ready, Started, or Reopened).

Closing a review will:
- immediately move every single assessment from every Snapshot to a state of closed;
- make all assessments read-only and uneditable;
- make all Calibration Events read-only and uneditable.
- move the review itself to a state of completion in the Performance review Dashboard.
- reveal the final calibrated scores in the Performance reviews page for all participants who were included in a closed Calibration Group (where Manager Reflections moved to a state of calibrated).
The option to close a review can be found in the review overview page as an admin. This option only appears when every assessment is either Submitted, Incomplete, or Calibrated (you must resolve any reopened assessments before closing).
Before you close a review, make sure:
- Have all Snapshots elapsed (passed their end dates)? If any Snapshots have started, wait for them to end before closing. Any unsubmitted assessments will automatically change to incomplete status when Snapshots end.
- For reviews with Ratings/Calibration: Are there assessments still marked as submitted or incomplete? This indicates either unfinished Calibration Groups or participants who haven't been assigned to a group.
- For reviews with Ratings/Calibration: Are there any reopened assessments? This indicates either unfinished Calibration Groups or pending manager revisions following calibration.
- For reviews without Ratings/Calibration: Are there assessments marked as ready, started, or reopened? This means either you're trying to close before all snapshots have elapsed (see first point) or there are participants who still need to submit their revisions.
