Will Remote purchase my work equipment?

No, your Company is responsible for purchasing the equipment (laptop, monitor, etc) you need to do your job. It is possible for you to purchase these items yourself and put in a request for an expense reimbursement on the Remote platform but you need to first get confirmation from your manager. Alternatively, your manager can offer you a stipend to cover the cost of your work equipment.
