A probation period may be legally required in your country of residence. The purpose of a probation period is to enable the company to evaluate your competence and for you to assess if the role suits you.

During this period, the company can terminate the employment agreement without having to follow the full notice period. The length of the probation has been selected by the company (in accordance with the local legal framework) and then shared with Remote.
