Where can I find tax and reporting information by country?

Each country has its own rules for how equity is taxed and reported. Remote’s Equity Handbooks help you understand local requirements before granting equity to team members employed through Remote’s Employer of Records (EOR) product.

These handbooks offer practical, country-specific guidance on taxation, reporting obligations, and key considerations.

How to access the Equity Handbooks

1. Go to your Remote Equity dashboard.
2. Click Tools in the top navigation bar.
3. Select Equity Handbooks.
4. Choose a country from the list (handbooks are currently available for countries where you have EOR team members and cover stock options only).
5. Click View Handbook to see detailed information including:
   • Key assumptions
   • Tax rules and reporting requirements
   • Available tax benefits
   • Important watchouts

Can team members access this information?

Yes. Team members can access their country’s handbook from their own portal. You can grant them access by inviting them through the Remote platform.
