You can now view your payslip breakdown directly in the Remote platform—no need to download a PDF first. This guide walks you through how to view your payslip and understand each part of your pay summary.
Where to find your payslip
- Go to your Remote dashboard and select Payslips from the left-hand menu.
- You’ll see a list of payslips with:
- Expected pay date
- Pay period
- Net pay
- Reimbursements
- To view details, click the three dots (⋮) next to a payslip and choose:
- View pay summary
- View payslip in PDF
- Download payslip
What’s included in the pay summary
When you click View pay summary, you'll see a detailed breakdown of your pay components. This includes:
- Net pay: The amount you’ll receive in your bank account
- Gross pay: Your total earnings before any deductions
- A breakdown of:
- Salary: Your base pay
- Incentives: Bonuses or commissions
- Expenses: Approved reimbursements
- Benefits: Company-paid benefits
- Taxes and deductions: Mandatory withholdings like taxes and contributions
The pie chart also shows what percentage of your salary goes to taxes and what remains as net pay.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does it say “Payslip summary not available”?
Sometimes, a detailed summary might not be available for a specific pay period.
You can still access the full breakdown by clicking View payslip in PDF.
Can I still download my payslip?
Yes. From the payslip list:
- Click the three dots (⋮) next to the entry
- Select Download payslip to save a PDF version
Example: understanding your net pay
Here’s an example of what your breakdown might look like:
- Gross pay: $6,861.42
- Taxes and deductions: $1,882.96
- Net pay: $4,978.45
This means 73% of your total pay was received after deductions.
What should I do if my payment hasn’t arrived?
It may take your bank a few business days to process your pay after the expected pay date. If you don’t see it immediately, wait a few days before contacting support.
