How do I reopen a team member’s self-reflection after it’s been submitted?

Once a team member submits their self-reflection, neither they nor their manager can reopen it. However, if the reflection was submitted by mistake or needs to be updated, an HR Admin can reopen it on their behalf.

As a People Manager or Calibrator, here’s how you can request a self-reflection to be reopened:

  1. Go to Team Management > Performance and select Team Performance.
  2. Navigate to Last Performance Review to view reflections from the current cycle, or go to All Performance Reviews to access older ones.
  3. Find the team member whose self-reflection you want to reopen.
  4. Click the (three dots) menu and select Reopen self-reflection.

If needed, you can follow the same steps to reopen a manager reflection as well.

This option is helpful when a reflection was submitted with missing information or if the team member wants to revise their answers after a discussion.

If you don’t see the option to reopen, reach out to your HR Admin for support.
