When you’re invited to create your employee profile, you might be taken to your old contractor dashboard. This is normal when both profiles use the same email. Follow the steps below to access and complete your employee profile.

Step 1: Open the correct profile

  • Log in with the email address that received the invite.
  • Use the profile switcher at the top right to choose your new Employee profile.
    • The profile labeled “Hired through Remote” is your EOR employee profile.
    • Your contractor profile stays available for historic documents like invoices and payslips.

If you don’t see the switcher or it doesn’t respond:

  • Go back to your latest invite email and click the “Create new profile” or “Get started” button. This deep‑links you to the new employee profile setup.

Step 2: Complete all onboarding tasks in the employee profile

In your employee profile, complete the checklist:

  • Personal information and address
  • Emergency contact
  • Payment and bank details
  • Identity and right‑to‑work checks
  • Any company or country‑specific documents

Step 3: What changes after you switch to employee

  • Submit time off and expenses from the employee profile going forward.
  • Any pending PTO on your old profile after your new start date may be canceled. Re‑submit these in the employee profile if needed.
  • You can switch back anytime to view historic documents in your contractor profile.
