Duration
- Non-only children: Up to 5 working days of cumulative leave per year.
- Only children: Up to 7 working days of cumulative leave per year.

- Hospital admission certificate or hospitalisation notice
- Medical certificate confirming inpatient treatment
- Discharge summary (if applicable)
This confirms:

- The parent is receiving inpatient medical treatment
Proof of family relationship
- Household registration booklet (Hukou) showing parent-child relationship
- Birth certificate
- Other official documentation proving the familial relationship

Only-child status (if claiming extended 7 days)
