You can upload documents to Remote in multiple locations depending on whether you're adding company-wide files or employee-specific documents. This guide explains how to upload files and configure their settings.
To upload a file:
- Click on the Document management tab;
- Choose Files;
- Click on Add files;
- Click on the Upload files button;
- Select the file you want to upload. You can choose to have Remote AI automatically map the data for you or you can manually add the data yourself;
- In the review step, you can review the details and manually map the data as needed;
- File Name - the name of the file;
- Document type – Document category (Contract, Tax, Policy);
- Assigned To – The employee linked to this file (for team member files);
- Assignee type - this is where you specify if its a Team or Company file;

Team Member Visibility - select if its a hidden, restricted or public document.

- After mapping your data, you can click Confirm and add file;

All documents you upload can always be found on this page as well as the finalized PDFs of documents you sent out to your employees and contractors.
