How do I know when an employee's probation is coming to an end?

We will send you an email notification when an employee's probation end date is approaching.  The Company Owners, Admins, and the employee's People Manager (if one has been assigned in the platform) will receive an email 30 days before an employee's probation period end date, and again 7 days before the probation end date.  These individualized emails per employee will replace the monthly email containing a list of all the employees on probation and the respective end date for their probation.  

How to view an employee's probation end date on Remote

On the Remote platform, you're now able to view the probation end date for respective employees from the Team tab. There are two ways to view this information, from the Team overview table or from the respective employee's profile.

To view the probation end date from the Team page:

1. Go to the Team tab on Remote. 
2. From the overview table, you can see a list of all team members and their respective probation end dates.
   
   

To view the probation end date from the employee's profile:

• Go to the Team page on Remote and click on the employee's profile you'd like to view.
• From the Profile section, you will see the Probation period end date on the right-hand side.

If you are thinking about extending the employee's probation, you will need to let us know before their probation ends (as long as a probation extension is permissible in the employee's country of residence). If you're satisfied with this employee's performance and have no intention of terminating them or extending their probation, you do not need to take any action.
