Currently, an employer is required to carry out health checks in the following countries:
- Argentina
- Brazil
- Bulgaria
- Cambodia
- Colombia
- Czech Republic
- Ecuador
- Estonia
- Finland
- France
- Hungary
- Italy
- Japan
- Latvia
- Luxembourg
- Poland
- Portugal
- Romania
- Spain
- Taiwan
There are exceptions. In Spain, while the employer is required to offer this as an option, it is not mandatory for an employee to have a health check done. From the Personal details
tab, the employee will need to go to the Job & Pay
section to opt from doing a health check.
