Currently, an employer is required to carry out health checks in the following countries:

  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Bulgaria
  • Cambodia
  • Colombia
  • Czech Republic
  • Ecuador
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • France
  • Hungary
  • Italy
  • Japan
  • Latvia
  • Luxembourg
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Spain
  • Taiwan

There are exceptions. In Spain, while the employer is required to offer this as an option, it is not mandatory for an employee to have a health check done. From the Personal details tab, the employee will need to go to the Job & Pay section to opt from doing a health check.
