You can sync one-time payments directly from HiBob to Remote. This feature allows you to map your HiBob pay types to Remote pay items and automatically sync one-time payments for your employees.
How it works
- Mapping is per legal entity: Because each legal entity can have different pay items, you need to map the HiBob to Remote pay items for each specific legal entity.
- Many-to-one mapping: Multiple pay items in HiBob can be mapped to a single pay item type in Remote. For example, you can map both "Christmas bonus" and "Bonus" to "Bonus" pay item in Remote.
- Unmapped pay items will not sync: If a pay type in HiBob is not mapped to a pay item in Remote, the payment sync will not be created.
- Sync schedule: Once enabled, the sync happens automatically every four hours. You can also trigger a manual sync at any time.
- Editing payments: If a pay item amount is updated in HiBob, the change will update in Remote upon the next sync, provided the pay item in Remote is in schedules state. Once a pay item is picked up by a payroll run, it is processed and locked, and updates from HiBob will no longer apply to prevent discrepancies.
Prerequisites
To enable this sync, you will need to have the HiBob integration configured in Remote. For steps on how to do that, please refer to HiBob integration configuration article. You will also need to enable employee sync by following steps provided in HiBob employee sync article.
