Remote MCP is available to users with an active Remote account. You connect it on your own AI client; nothing extra needs to be installed on the Remote side.

What you need

  • An active Remote account.
  • An AI client that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Tested options include Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Claude Code, and Cursor.

How to check

  1. Make sure you can sign in to Remote in your browser.
  2. Open your AI client and look for a Connectors or MCP section.
  3. Try connecting to https://mcp.remote.com/mcp (see the connection guides).
  4. Try asking your AI client a Remote-related question.

If you cannot connect

  • Make sure you are signing in with the right Remote account.
  • Check the troubleshooting articles, starting with Sign-in and token problems with Remote MCP.
  • If problems continue, ask your company's Remote admin to follow up with Remote support.
