Remote MCP is available to users with an active Remote account. You connect it on your own AI client; nothing extra needs to be installed on the Remote side.
What you need
- An active Remote account.
- An AI client that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Tested options include Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Claude Code, and Cursor.
How to check
- Make sure you can sign in to Remote in your browser.
- Open your AI client and look for a Connectors or MCP section.
- Try connecting to
https://mcp.remote.com/mcp(see the connection guides). - Try asking your AI client a Remote-related question.
If you cannot connect
- Make sure you are signing in with the right Remote account.
- Check the troubleshooting articles, starting with Sign-in and token problems with Remote MCP.
- If problems continue, ask your company's Remote admin to follow up with Remote support.
