What can my manager and employer see through Remote MCP?

If your manager has connected Remote MCP, they can ask about information they already have access to in Remote. They cannot see more about you than they could see by signing in to Remote directly.

What a manager can typically see

• Information about their direct reports, such as employment details and time off, where Remote already allows it.
• Org structure, including reporting lines and teams.
• Information that is part of normal management workflows in Remote.

What a manager cannot do

• See data that their Remote account is not authorized to see.

Your privacy

Your role and permissions in Remote still protect what others can see about you. Connecting an AI client does not change those rules.
