Six admin workflows to try with Remote MCP

Here are six workflows admins can try after connecting Remote MCP. Each works within your existing Remote role and permissions; most tools are read-only, with a limited set of write actions (such as time off and expenses).

1. Reorg planning

Ask the AI to pull current reporting lines, contract types, and countries for a specific team, then ask it to draft a restructuring plan and flag jurisdiction-specific points to review. AI-drafted restructuring plans should always be reviewed by qualified employment counsel before any decisions are communicated or acted upon.

2. Compliance review

Ask the AI to summarize contract status, contract types, and country-specific details for employees in a given country, then ask for a table you can share with legal.

3. Merit cycle prep

Ask the AI to pull compensation data for a department, group by country and seniority, and flag anyone who has not had a recent salary change.

4. Contract amendment audit

Ask the AI to list employees with contract amendments in the last few months, show what changed, and highlight any that are still in progress.

5. Headcount planning

Ask the AI to summarize current headcount by department and country, list upcoming contract expirations, and project headcount at the end of the quarter.

6. Quick lookups

Ask plain questions like "How many employees do we have in Germany?" or "Who is on leave this week?"

Things to keep in mind

  • The AI only sees data your account is already allowed to see.
  • Always review AI output before sharing it externally or making decisions based on it.
  • You can also ask payroll and billing questions, such as upcoming payroll deadlines or invoice status.
