Answers to common questions about the Remote AI agent beta.
Can the agent see data I can't access?
No. The agent can only access data the signed-in user is already authorized to view.
Can the agent make changes on my behalf?
Yes, for supported actions, but changes require a confirmation step before being applied.
Is the agent available to everyone?
The beta is available across Remote products and user roles, for both customers and users. Companies onboarded to Remote Payment Services (RPS) do not currently have access to the beta.
Why did another user receive a different answer than I did?
Responses may vary depending on the wording of a request, available context, and user permissions.
Can the agent access information from systems outside Remote?
No. The agent only operates within Remote and does not make changes to external systems. If you would like to connect other systems, you can use Remote's MCP.
Is my data being used to train AI models?
No, your data is not being used to train AI models.
Can my manager or colleague see my conversations?
No, your conversations are strictly personal and not shared with other people at your company.
Can I share a conversation with my colleague?
Sharing a conversation with a colleague is not a supported feature yet. If you would like to have this capability, feel free to submit feedback via our chat.
